LAGA KIDS is a unique program which provides parents and children (ages 4-11) with a shared musical experience. The lessons move in small, easy-to-follow steps so that you and your child will experience success with every lesson! As the primary home teacher, you will learn basic guitar skills, then teach them to your child. After completing the LAGA Kids lessons, your child will be ready to move on to reading music with LAGA Classical. Neither you nor your child needs any previous musical experience for this course. LAGA CORE provides a deep understanding of fingerboard harmony that is essential to becoming a competent guitarist. In this course, we cover the layout of your guitar's fingerboard. We teach you how to play all of the notes on the fingerboard, how to map major and minor scale forms on the fingerboard, how to train your ear to hear intervals, and how to exploit the power of triads to catapult your musicianship into a higher level.
